To make room on the 40-Man Roster for Matt Capps, Our Washington Nationals outrighted 24-year old lefty pitcher Victor Garate to AAA Syracuse. You may recall that Garate was claimed off waivers/the player to be named later in this past summer's trade of Ronnie Belliard to The Los Angeles Dodgers. Garate appeared overwhelmed in his brief Big League outings.
