Beginning in 2005, The African Queen and I enjoyed Section 320 at RFK Stadium. Our Washington Nationals and the Nats320 Blog came to life for us there. Since 2008-we've sat in Section 218 at Nationals Park, but our blog name has not changed. Our roots are in Nats320-and we will never forget those good times. But, as always, we will attempt to provide fun, information and commentary about Our Washington Nationals. All photos, unless otherwise attributed-COPYRIGHT Nats320--ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Chad Cordero Back In The Big Leagues
Over two years after a torn labrum required surgery and eventually led to his release by Our Washington Nationals, Chad Cordero is finally back in the Major Leagues. "The Most Thrilling Closer In The Game" to be called up today by The Seattle Mariners. He will be in uniform tonight at Safeco Field wearing Number 33 for The M's as they take on The Minnesota Twins. The official announcement has yet to come from The Mariners, but the information is confirmed by Nats320.
One of the most popular players to ever wear a Nationals Uniform, it's great to know Chad Cordero made it all the way back.
Good Luck Chief!!
Sohna and I will be rooting for you.

That's great news. Go get 'em, Chief!
ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for him, too. Great news- thanks for breaking it.
ReplyDeleteI predict that, especially should the Nats get good, we will have an Old-Timers day for Frank (God-Willing) and the Boys of Summer 2005, and the loudest cheers will be for the Chief - I get emotional just typing this. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteThat's fabulous news. I'll be rooting for him.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Chief!!! I was so sorry to see you leave the Nats, but so pleased just now to read of your return to the Big Leagues. The Mariners' gain is definitely our loss. Who knows, one day soon we may be welcoming you back, just like Livan. We'll be looking out for you!!
