Weathering The Storm & Breaking News

Sohna and I have turned the corner and are on the way to a full recovery. We're not 100% yet, although compared to early this week, it sure feels like it. We wanted to thank the many friends, colleagues and commenters that called or sent cards & emails or left messages of best wishes. Over the next few days, we'll be catching up on a few stories.

But to get things started fresh and new here on Nats320--here's some breaking news:

If WTOP Technicians are satisfied with today's final tests--beginning tonight (May 14th, 2010) you can hear Charlie Slowes & Daves Jageler live on your HD Radio. That's right, as promised by WTOP and Bonneville last month, 107.7FM HD2 will begin a simulcast of the 1500 AM WFED Signal. And when that HD2 signal goes online--it should become an option on your HD Radio automatically.

So expect Nats320 to be back up and running after weathering the storm and listen to Charlie Slowes & Dave Jageler on your HD Radio with the impending storms coming tonight in the D.C. Area. No lightning strikes or static in the air should break up that HD Radio Signal.

Sorry to hear you all have been under the weather. I'm glad you're both feeling better and await for more great post. The HD radio sounds like grad solution.

I doubt anybody will be able to listen to Dave and Charlie tonight because the game in Denver has been rained out. Tomorrow there will be a day/night doubleheader at 2:10 and 8:10 PM.

Great news about the HD radio option. Now, I just have to buy a receiver. :-)

Sorry to hear that you've both been under the weather, but glad to hear you're doing better. There must be something going around, as I was also down with a virus this week. So far, my hubby has not succumbed to it (knocking on wood).

I bought an HD receiver and still no signal. I also can get 104.3 from Leesburg and its still WTOP. Any idea when they will finally be broadcasting Nats on these frequencies?

I went to Nats game last night and lost Nats talk live by Reston!

107.7FM HD2 is broadcasting Nationals Games right now as I receive the games on our set in our house. My understanding is that 104.3FM in Leesburg would begin broadcasting either by this weekend or next weekend (Memorial Day).
