Partial Season Mini-Plans Announced

This morning Our Washington Nationals announced three mini-plans for the upcoming 2010 Baseball Season. Each of the 14, 13 & 10 Game Plans include one free game. The Baker's Dozen Mini-Plan is for Sunday Only Home Games at Nationals Park. The Champions Plan (14 Games) and Zim's Silver Slugger Plan (10 Games) are interspersed throughout the season. No "pick your own games" mini-plan mentioned in this announcement.

WASHINGTON NATIONALS INTRODUCE MINI PLANS FOR 2010 SEASON

Mini Plans of 14, 13 and 10 Games Offer Flexible & Affordable Packages For Every Fan

The Washington Nationals will offer three mini plan packages in 2010, providing flexible and affordable options for all Nationals fans. As a bonus, each plan includes one game free of charge. The Champions Plan (14 games for the price of 13), Sunday Fun-day Plan (13 games for the price of 12), and Zim’s Silver Slugger Plan (10 games for the price of 9) were designed to fit the various schedules and budgets of NatsTown citizens.

The Nationals continue to be one of the most fan-friendly entertainment options in the District. Nationals mini plans feature diverse opponents, encompass the entire season, and fit all schedules and budgets. Starting as low as $90 per seat, mini plans are another affordable way to enjoy an outing at the ballpark with family and friends.

“The new season will bring us the fresh faces of Stephen Strasburg and Drew Storen and the experience of seasoned veterans like Ivan Rodriguez and Jason Marquis to reinforce established fan favorites like Adam Dunn, Ryan Zimmerman and Nyjer Morgan,” said Nationals President Stan Kasten. “We expect this to be a great year for baseball in Washington and our new mini plans mean that every fan can find a way to be a part of the excitement.”

The Champions Plan, featuring 14 games against past World Series winners, begins on Opening Day vs. the Philadelphia Phillies and includes games vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles. Sunday is family day at Nationals Park and the Sunday Fun-day Plan is perfect for families looking for a full day of entertainment at the ballpark. In addition to 13 games vs. great opponents, fans may enjoy pregame Signature Sundays and post-game Kids Run the Bases. Fans looking for a smaller plan will be interested in Zim’s Silver Slugger Plan, featuring 10 games throughout the season, including contests vs. the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs. Mini plan tickets are available on all levels of the ballpark, in 11 different seating areas and at eight price points, including the LF/RF Baseline Reserved (Sections 111 through 113 and 132 through 134), Outfield Reserved (Sections 101 through 107 and 138 through 143), Scoreboard Pavilion (Sections 237 through 243) and both the Upper and Lower RF Terrace (Sections 222 through 236). 2010 Season Ticket Packages are currently on sale and include tickets to the April 3 exhibition game vs. the Boston Red Sox at 50 percent off the listed season ticket price.
