The Washington Nationals Dream Foundation will auction off this Saturday, April 3rd--Stephen Strasburg's Game Worn Jersey from his spring debut at Space Coast Stadium on March 9th. You may recall how the media inundated Viera, Florida that day and Strasburg didn't disappoint in his two innings of work against The Detroit Tigers. Everyone wanted to see The Number One Overall Pick in the 2009 Draft pitch that afternoon.Now, one top bidding fan will have the chance to take it home and add a premium game worn item to their own baseball collection. Stephen's Autographed Debut Jersey the headliner for The Dream Foundation's First In-Game Auction of 2010 for Charity.
Gates will open at 1:30PM for all fans attending Washington's final exhibition game of 2010 with The Boston Red Sox at Nationals Park. And The Washington Nationals Dream Foundation Kiosk in Center Field Plaza will be ready for business to take bids on not only Strasburg's Debut Jersey, but also many other collectible and autographed items that day. Bidding will run until the end of the 5th inning. The winners will be announced on the HDTV Scoreboard at the South Capitol Street Ballpark.
