Racing Presidents Visit New York City

Over Presidents Day Weekend, Washington's Racing Presidents visited New York City to skate for the second year in a row at a New York Islanders Hockey Game.

Like most tourists do, they also took time to visit some of New Yorks' well known landmarks. The Times Square picture is quite nice. Too bad The Rushmores couldn't have been shown on one of the giant video boards behind them at the same time--that would have been special.

Would also like to know if they tried to hail a taxi? That would be just as fun to watch.

At The New York Stock Exchange

Did Teddy attempt to ride the famous Bull statue nearby?

At Rockefeller Center

Did The Rushmores lace up the skates there as well?

Taking a look at The Statue Of Liberty

Could their heads possibly fit inside Ms. Liberty's Crown? Now that would be a sight.

Thanks for all the pics. Wonder how they'd have done if they hailed a taxi and ended up on the Cash Cab show? I'm thinking that they could clean up on any American history questions, assuming that they could fit into the cab to begin with. :-)

Why are the Racing Presidents skating on NYC ice and not at a Caps game?

ABM--That's a good question--although I am sure it has to do alot with The Islanders being home on Presidents Day Weekend two years in a row. But you would think The Capitals would invite them too--at some point.
