Lot 7--Not Lot 8--For Nats Express This Saturday

Also--Please Note This Major Change In Drop-Off Point for Nats Express at Nationals Park. Nats Express will unload all passengers at 1st & N Streets SE (not 4th & M Streets SE as last year)--saving everyone an extra 3 to 4 blocks walk and 10 to 15 minutes more time to get into the ballpark. 1st & N Street SE is one-half block from the Centerfield Plaza Entrance.

After a comment was left yesterday stating DC United was also playing this Saturday, April 4th--a question arose concerning whether The Nats Express, the free Park & Ride Service for Nationals Fans from RFK Stadium to Nationals Park and back would still operate out of Lot 8?

After contacting Our Washington Nationals on the subject, the answer came back this afternoon. Nats Express will operate on Saturday for both The Full Season Ticket Holder Fan Appreciation Day Events (beginning at 12 Noon) AND the exhibition game to follow between Washington and Baltimore. But as was the case for all of 2008 under similar circumstances when DC United played at home--Nats Express will operate out of Lot 7.

For those not familiar with the NE Located Lot of RFK--you can access Lot 7 off The Whitney Young Bridge (also known as The East Capitol Street Bridge) or off of Oklahoma Avenue NE via Benning Road and 295.

Click on the map picture below for a more detailed look. If using Nats Express on Saturday, you CAN NOT access Lot 7 via Lot 8 and 395.
