After our inquiry, The Executive Office of Our Washington Nationals emailed Sohna and I this afternoon to inform those fans wishing to show their respects for the passing of Our Team President Stan Kasten's mother--Mrs. Sylvia Kasten--in lieu of flowers or cards, the family wishes that if you desire--please make a donation in Sylvia Kasten's name to either your local Alzheimer's Association or The Atlanta, Georgia Chapter.
The Kasten Family and Our Washington Nationals are appreciative of everyone's kind thoughts.
That was very thoughtful of you two.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the information you provide and for covering all the latest news from Florida. Do you know anything about the Full Season Ticket Holder event scheduled for April 4?
ReplyDeleteA few months ago, I was told there would be a FanFest for Full Season Ticket Holders Only approximately, 3-4 hours before that last exhibition game at Nationals Park. Similar to the picnic last year and NatsFest in January--the chance for autographs and pictures with players and staff. Other than that, no other information has been released.
ReplyDeleteHowever, the exhibition game itself is for all season ticket holders, right?
ReplyDeleteIndividual Tickets can now be purchased for the exhibition game at Nationals Park against The Orioles, but it does not include access to the Full Season Ticket Holder event before the game.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to see if I can tickets to the exhibition game for one reason---it may be the ONLY time all year that I'll see the "WASHINGTON" flag fly in first place above the Red Loft bar...
ReplyDeleteSBF,
ReplyDeleteYou've done terrific work reporting on spring training, and we all appreciate the heck out of it.
I saw that the Post is showing other Nats blogs by their regular Nationals Journal, and they included yours. I hope this is driving even more traffic to your excellent site.
