Beginning in 2005, The African Queen and I enjoyed Section 320 at RFK Stadium. Our Washington Nationals and the Nats320 Blog came to life for us there. Since 2008-we've sat in Section 218 at Nationals Park, but our blog name has not changed. Our roots are in Nats320-and we will never forget those good times. But, as always, we will attempt to provide fun, information and commentary about Our Washington Nationals. All photos, unless otherwise attributed-COPYRIGHT Nats320--ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Off To Cape Canaveral
With Our Washington Nationals playing their first spring game in Kissimmee, Florida this afternoon--Sohna and I are heading over to The Kennedy Space Center for a special tour. The STS-119 March 5th Launch Date to The International Space Station has been delayed--but there should be plenty of activity at Cape Canaveral to enjoy.
Kissimmee is so close - can't you do both? Which games will you make it to? Trying to figure out my schedule and will hopefully make it to a couple of games this spring. Would enjoy meeting you if you are still there.
ReplyDeleteYou'll enjoy it. I hope that your "special tour" takes you to the launch pad as mine back in 1997 once did (although who knows if this is allowed in a post 9/11 world?) We went as close to the launch pad as you could get unless you were working on the shuttle or taking off in the shuttle, and it was amazing seeing the shuttle on the pad. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of camera are you using? The pictures are turning out very well.
ReplyDeletewe hope you will still be there when we get there on 3/12 Biff
ReplyDeleteWe use a Canon Powershot A95- 5.0 Megapixel Camera. it's like four years old, well used and still running strong. We also take all pix on the highest quality setting. Thanks.
