Beginning in 2005, The African Queen and I enjoyed Section 320 at RFK Stadium. Our Washington Nationals and the Nats320 Blog came to life for us there. Since 2008-we've sat in Section 218 at Nationals Park, but our blog name has not changed. Our roots are in Nats320-and we will never forget those good times. But, as always, we will attempt to provide fun, information and commentary about Our Washington Nationals. All photos, unless otherwise attributed-COPYRIGHT Nats320--ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Aborted Mission
We got stuck on I-95 between exits late this morning. Literally, traffic did not move one inch for over 1 hour. There was a multiple car accident that shut down the interstate. By the time traffic cleared, there was no way to get to Jupiter, Florida for today's exhibition game between Our Washington Nationals and The St.Louis Cardinals within a reasonable time frame.
So--I took The African Queen shopping instead. As you can see, she did OK for herself.
When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping, eh? :-D
ReplyDeleteThat is a bummer because being on the visitor's side vs. Cards in Jupiter is the best place to watch Florida spring training in my opinion. Hopefully you will get a chance to see a game in Jupiter since the Nats play both the Cards and Marlins. How long will you be there?
ReplyDeleteChico is staking out JimBow's office, we need someone else to do a drive by at his house and see if he's still in town...
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a good outcome! And even more so now that you know how the game went.
ReplyDeleteTo know whether JimBo's still in town--all you have to do is check his Private Parking Space at Space Coast Stadium. It's not too difficult to know what type of car he drives down here. Not difficult at all.
