Whether you are at home, on the road or heading to NatsFest today at Nationals Park, George Wallace and Craig Heist will be LIVE from Presidents Club at The South Capitol Street Ballpark today on WFED--1500AM. The Special NatsFest Broadcast will run from 12 Noon until 1:50PM. In essence a Pre-NatsFest Show to get you warmed up about today's first time event involving Our Washington Nationals. Producer Steve Ray tells me to expect Wallace and Heist to have many special guests talking Nats Baseball over the course of the nearly two hour broadcast.

NatsFest for Fans at Nationals Park begins at 1PM and runs until 5PM this Sunday Afternoon January 25th. So tune in to 1500AM for The Special WFED NatsFest Broadcast beginning at 12 Noon Today.

Any word on parking options for NatsFest?

Lots B & C are FREE (The Parking Decks along N Street SE over the left & centerfield walls--first come, first served. Although I am sure street parking is also free. Thanks.

Hey SBF, any comment on Tom Boswell's rather scathing column on the Nationals in yesterdays Washington Post? Also, i hate to harp on the negative, but i saw absolutely NOTHING in the local print/broadcast media in the last month about NatsFest. If the Nationals want sports fans in the DC area to care about the team, they need to at least put forth a little effort.

It was awfully nice to see you and Sonha there today. Even better to see a large, excited crowd. Let's hope for continued enthusiasm through the upcoming season.

DCNats--I thought Boswell's comments were a little off kilter. For whatever reason he seemed to have a personal axe to grind against The Lerners in that article. I don't know what it's really about, but I find it strange. Now if next week, Washington signs Dunn or someone similar and Boswell comes back and praises the team, reversing track-he will sound even worse. It seems one week his on board, then the next off--and no in between.

You hit the nail right on the head -- Boz has been a vacillator for quite some time. I wonder if what he writes depends on what medication he's on that day.

Too bad, because he was once (late 1970's to early 1980's) a great baseball writer. His Total Average concept was way ahead of its time, and is still a better analytical tool than OBPS (although not as simple to calculate).
