Beginning in 2005, The African Queen and I enjoyed Section 320 at RFK Stadium. Our Washington Nationals and the Nats320 Blog came to life for us there. Since 2008-we've sat in Section 218 at Nationals Park, but our blog name has not changed. Our roots are in Nats320-and we will never forget those good times. But, as always, we will attempt to provide fun, information and commentary about Our Washington Nationals. All photos, unless otherwise attributed-COPYRIGHT Nats320--ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Old Glory Flying High!!
How Sweet Does That Look?! I can just hear The National Anthem right now.
I believe its an electronic billboard. The ticker tape type that you see in Times Square in NYC all the time. But, this one appears to be circular. Its definitely not the baseball from the original plans.
I think the "Times Square" ticker scoreboard was planned from the beginning to be on top of the Red Porch restaurant. The only difference now is that Mr. Met's (or Homer's) head will not be on top of it.
P.S. By "Homer" I mean the Atlanta Braves' mascot---NOT Homer Simpson.
Oh no - now you have really done it: expect 14 negative "Anonymous" comments, followed by a lawsuit from the ACLU, SBF!! Seriously, it is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteTrust in Old Glory. All Good.
SBF,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any idea what is being built on top of the outfield restaurant? Thanks.
