Beginning in 2005, The African Queen and I enjoyed Section 320 at RFK Stadium. Our Washington Nationals and the Nats320 Blog came to life for us there. Since 2008-we've sat in Section 218 at Nationals Park, but our blog name has not changed. Our roots are in Nats320-and we will never forget those good times. But, as always, we will attempt to provide fun, information and commentary about Our Washington Nationals. All photos, unless otherwise attributed-COPYRIGHT Nats320--ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

The First Day Of Spring Training
He may have been all smiles during the introductory Press Conference & Winter Caravan. But, the serious business starts on Tuesday--with 38 Pitchers and 6 Catchers scheduled to report to Viera, Florida to begin Spring Training for Our Washington Nationals. These may well be New Manager, Manny Acta's first comments to his squad.
"For those of you who have been here before: John, Shawn, Jason, Beltran, Billy, Luis, Chris, Micah, Brett, Michael, Jon, Chad, Saul, Chris (again), Ryan, and Michael (again)--Welcome back. But, I want ALL 16 OF YOU to meet--Matt, Emiliano, Joel, Tim, Levale, Jermaine and Jerome. But, don't get too comfortable, we need to make a ton more space in the clubhouse. So, I would like to introduce ALL 23 OF YOU, to Winston, Mike, Brandon, Jesus, Felix, Josh, Ray, Colby, Anastacio, Luis, Chris, Arnie, Jason, Edward and Bill. All of whom, are itching for their opportunities, also. Squeeze in, get close, we are family, my friends."
"And, while we are at it--cram in a little more! I would like to introduce All 38 OF YOU!!, to Brian, Jesus, Robert, Juan, Brandon and Danny. All of whom will catch you. Don't kill them, we don't want to destroy their knees. As, we don't have much left behind them."
"Finally--Pitching Coach Randy St.Claire is available 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week for the next 6 weeks. I advise you listen to him closely, and ask as many questions as possible. Your Baseball Careers may well be defined by his interest in YOU!! And, whether we (Our Nationals) are, at least, competitive this season."
"Oh--I almost forgot. If you think its tight right now in this clubhouse, wait until this Sunday, when 27 more (everyday players) show up!! Get to know all your neighbors, as we have a long way to go."
"Good Day!! And, Good Luck!! LETS PLAY BALL!!"
Welcome to Washington Nationals Spring Training. No one said it wasn't going to be interesting!!
