I watched without audio, and not because I had the radio on. We had folks over for dinner, and I insisted on the background video. Anyway, you have some good ball skills. We should start a 50 and over team!

On another matter, it is absolutely inexplicable that Elijah Dukes is not in the starting lineup. It's more than his own numbers. When he is in there, the rest of the team plays better.paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15683734720896529408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28676208.post-45586629887074287492009-04-11T11:09:00.000-04:002009-04-11T11:09:00.000-04:00A resultant bouncing ball that Lastings did not sc...A resultant bouncing ball that Lastings did not score upon--while "The Guz" running in front of him did.

How did Guzman get ahead of Milledge on the bases when he bats behind him? I believe it was the pitcher Martis on base ahead of Milledge there, an inexperienced baserunner. (It was his first major league hit.) That's a factor that a lot of people are ignoring on this play. Milledge as a baserunner needs to take his cues from what the runner in front of him is doing as well as what's happening on the play in right field. Did Martis tag up, thinking the ball would be caught? If he did, and if Milledge didn't, then one of them would have surely been hung out to dry by Francoeur's arm.An Briosca Morhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06855174362787324401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28676208.post-46701659610614563762009-04-11T04:14:00.000-04:002009-04-11T04:14:00.000-04:00If Milledge doesn't play a LOT better, he is going...If Milledge doesn't play a LOT better, he is going to get a lot of boos when he's introduced in the starting line-up Easter Monday, and I don't mean by Phillie fans!Edward J.
