An awkward, flyball pitcher who gives up a lot of home runs. Give him a chance but people need to be careful about trusting statistics from AAA. The scouts don't.

See JD Martin, Seth Bynum and a few others.NatsGuyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12401416745131624177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28676208.post-41706398834749603042009-06-26T11:01:20.525-04:002009-06-26T11:01:20.525-04:00I had to laugh about Stan's comment about food...I had to laugh about Stan's comment about food at his press conference. I went to the Wednesday game and a friend of mine both had a smoked turkey sandwich from the new vendor right next to the Red Loft Bar. And we both coincidentally got food poisoning that night and yesterday!yazzy1956https://www.blogger.com/profile/17547480988367313462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28676208.post-83504316150071260422009-06-26T07:27:22.221-04:002009-06-26T07:27:22.221-04:00SBF,

They cheer for their team, but don't mind and don't bother you if you do the same!

My 6 year-old son spent the ENTIRE game, cheering and screaming "Let's Go Nats" and I eventually joined in as did a lot of Nats' fans behind us. Great fun!

Many times, the Red Sox fans turned and gave my son "five" for his loyalty to his team. I also admire how they kept cheering, even when down 8 in the 9th.

Us Nats fans can learn from that and my son - have fun, be respectful and kind, cheer like crazy for your team, and never, ever give up!

It was my birthday yesterday and my son, the fans, and the Nationals made it a memorable, special day. Thanks for recounting it!Steve Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17655507539507628825noreply@blogger.com
