Unfortunately, the media is writing that Shawn Hill will be sent down to New Orleans. I find this guy to have great composure on the mound, doesn't get flustered when he gets in trouble and works his way around problems, much like Livan Hernanadez. I would keep this guy over O'Connor, for the long term. I have been waiting for O'Connor to get WHACHKED every time he pitches, but it has yet to happen.
I agree that Shawn Hill has great potential. The times I've seen him pitch he has shown what you allude to. People often say someone has a great upside, does those things that don't show up in the boxscore. However with John Patterson coming off the DL, and the current mindset toward Bray, someone has got to go.
